DAVENTRY BROADCASTS
TWO NEW TRANSMITTERS LONDON, May 10. (Received May 10, at 9 p.m.) The British Broadcasting Corporation is building at Daventry two new ehort wave transmitters, using 50 to CO kilowatt power, which is double the present transmitter's strength. The new installation is expected effectively to reply to German broadcasts from Essen, which are better received in some parts of the Empire than Daventry.
