The following Is the official weather forecast : An anti-cyclone now covets the Dominion, but its centre lies over the southern portion of the South Island; pressure Is relatively now over the west of the North Island. Indications are for: Winds—Strong south-easterly at first in the Cook Strait area; elsewhere moderate.; variable northerlles prevailing shortly over the South Island. Seas—New Zealand Waters—Rather rough to rough between Kaikoura and East Cape, elsewhere smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea—Variable winds at first in the northern portion, but northerlles soon prevailing generally, later freshening in the southern portion. Parera, which arrived early this morning from Wellington, will sail again to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for New Plymouth and Port Waikato. Breeze, which arrived yesterday morning from northern ports and Bluff, sailed last evening for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Plcton, and Wanganul. Orepuki, which Is now under charter to the Canterbury Steam" Shipping Company, arrived yesterday afternoon from Lyttelton. She is to sail to-day for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Plcton, and Wanganul. Waipiata, which arrived last evening from Auckland, via ports, will sail to-day for Bluff. She will return to Dunedin early next week to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Wainui Is due at Dunedin on Monday from Wellington, and will sail on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier, and Glsborne, via ports. KARETU FROM AUSTRALIA. The Karetu, from Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla, and Hobart, via Bluff, is duo at Dunedln to-morrow. She will discharge general cargo on Monday, and is expected to sail the same day for Oamaru and Lyttelton to complete discharge. MATAROA DELAYED. The Shaw, Savlll liner Mataroa, which arrived at Timaru yesterday from Lyttelton, is now due at Port Chalmers on Tuesday morning to continue Homeward loading. She will sail about May 16 for Auckland and Wellington to complete loading. HURUNUI SAILS. The Hurunui, after discharging cargo from Liverpool, sailed yesterday morning for BlutT to load products. She will afterwards load at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Napier. The Hurunui is scheduled to sail finally from Napier on May 28 for London. INDIEN FOR BLUFF. Having discharged the Dunedin portion of her freight from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company's chartered motor ship Indien sailed yesterday afternoon for Bluff. She will leave the southern port about Monday for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. The Indien will be handed over to her owners at Sydney.

AORANGI FROM VANCOUVER. The Royal Mall liner Aorangl, which Is duo at Auckland to-morrow from. Vancouver, Honolulu, and Suva, is scheduled to resume her voyage to Sydney at 11 o'clock on Monday night. PAKEHA FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill, and Alhion steamer Pakoha is scheduled to leave Liverpool to-day with cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on June 19. REMUERA FROM LONDON. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Remuera states that the vessel is now expected to arrive at Wellington on Monday morning from London. The Remuera was originally due at Wellington to-day, but has been delayed by bad weather. NARBADA LEAVES AUCKLAND. The Union Company's chartered steamer Narbada, which readied Auckland on May 5 from Rangoon, Calcutta, Penang, Singapore, and Samarang, is due at Wellington to-day to continue discharge of her eastern cargo. She is scheduled to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. COPTIC FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor ship Coptic is scheduled to leave London on May 15 with cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on Juno 18. ALDINGTON COURT FROM NEW YORK. Under charter to the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the Loudon motor ship Aldington Court left New York on May 2 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
