DAVIS CUP CONTEST NEW ZEALAND TEAM LONDON, May 7. Mr Wallis Myers, in the Daily telegraph, says: "While an Australian victory in the first round of the Davis Cu?> can be confidently predicted on relative form, Stedman will not be easily beaten by Australia's second singles player, while Australia will need its best effort to win the doubles." Hopman, the Sun-Herald's correspond ent, writing from Eastbourne, says: "Andrews is the only New Zealandc here. I practised singles with him uid found his forehand good, but his backrand weak. He needs much practice in order to hold our best. Malfroy and Stedman will arrive to-night."
