Mr Justice Guddard stopped the case and said to the juryman: "Do you mean it would prevent your giving a true verdict according to the evidence?" "1 am afraid it might influence my judgment," replied the juror. The judge said the juryman had acted quite rightly in revealing his objections, but he bhould have done so before he had been sworn.
