THE WEATHER
The weather was fine, but overcast, yesterday, with a light north-east breeze. The maximum temperature was 67 degrees. The barometer fell during the day, and registered 29.60 in last evening. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, April 10. Boisterous and wet weather prevailed to-day. a strong breeze blowing from the north-east, continuous rain being experienced during the afternoon and evening. The barometer was falling steadily all day, and now registers 29.85 in. WELLINGTON, April 10. The weather was mild and dull to-day, with rain setting in late in the afternoon. A northerly breeze freshened somewhat during the afternoon The maximum temperature was 07.8 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, April 10. The weather to-day was overcast, but fine, with a moderate east-north-east breeze. Light rain fell this evening. The maximum temperature was 63.5 degrees. The barometer is falling, and now registers 29.05 in.
