CHILD EMIGRATION
THE FARM SCHOOL SCHEME ONE ON VANCOUVER ISLAND LONDON, March 11. . The Times says: The Prince of Wales has consented to the School being named the Prince of Wales's Fairbridge Farm School. The Child Emigration Society will establish another Fairbridge School in Australia and one in New Zealand. A previous message stated: As the result of an appeal by the Prince of Wales, the fund from which the Child Emigration Society purchased 1000 acres on Vancouver Island and established the Fairbridge Farm School, similar to that in Western Australia, has reached £OO,OOO. The Times, in a leader, says child emigration is the only form of organised settlement in the dominions which has survived the recent difficult years.
