WELLINGTON UNION PAST SEASON'S OPERATIONS. . (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 11. The annual report of the Wellington Rugby Union states that, taking the adverse factors into account, the past season, from a financial point of view, must be regarded as satisfactory. The gate receipts were slightly ahead of those of 1933. The standard of play, however, did not reach the level of the previous season. The year ended with a credit balance of £132. THS SEACLIFF CLUB The twelfth annual meeting of the Seacliff Rugby Football Club was held in the schoolroom on February 27, the president (Mr P. Bell) occupying the chair. There was a fair attendance. —The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected: Patron, Dr H. D. Hayes; president, Mr P Bell; vice-presidents—Dr Brown and Dr R. T. Hay, Messrs W. R. Wilson, G. Reid, F. Brown, N. Tyrrell, M. Wilkinson; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. Tod; auditor, Mr J. M'Donnell; sols selector, Mr M. Wilkinson; coach, Mr H. M'Lay; club captain, Mr H. M'Lay; delegates to Eastern District Sub-union, Ales-vrs P. Bell and M. Wilkinson; Management Committee—the president, secrotarv, club captain, Messrs Sloane, M'Donnell, Wilkinson, and Gaffaney. It was decided to open the season with a friendly match on April 20.
