THE AUCKLAND ARRANGEMENTS WELLINGTON READY TO COLLABORATE. (Peh United Pkess Association) WELLINGTON, March 11. Willingness to collaborate with Auckland in order to save overlapping and expense in regard to the Wellington and Auckland centenaries in 1940 was expressed to-day by the Mayor (Mr T. C. A. Hislop). - "Personally," he said, "I shall be very glad indeed to collaborate with Auckland so as to avoid overlapping or unnecessarv expenditure, and so as to ensure that the celebrations will be suitable to both cities and worthy of the occasion, which is not only the centenary of Wellington and Auckland, but of New Zealand."
