DUNEDIN GUN CLUB
Ideal weather conditions marked the opening sho'ot of the Dunedin Gun Club, held at Green Island Grounds on Saturday. There was a good attendance of members and their friends. A high standard of shooting was maintained throughout. In an appropriate speech the president (Mr G. E. Turner) declared the season open. Three matches were fired, the-winning scores being as follows: Six-bird Eye-opener Handicap (down the line). —G. E. Turner. R. Bruce, J. K. Begg, D. J. Gordon, A. F. Aburn, and G. Sinclair six birds. Fifteen Bird Handicap (down the line).
Three-pair Double-rise Quail Shoot. — G. E. Turner and R. Graham, six birds; W. J. Dippie (Balclutba), five birds.
