School B gained a good win over Union on the first innings. School B made 89 runs (Francis 22 not out, Hore_ 14). Bowling for Union Brook took six wickets for 29 runs, and Harwood two for 7. Union replied with only 27. Wren took four wickets for 4 runs,4and Mathias two for 16. School's second innings produced 81 runs (Wren 20, Gordon 10). Brook took eight wickets for 29 runs. Union s second strike realised 93 runs for two wickets (Hedges 49 not out, Brook 34, Arnott 12). Brook took 14 wickcte for the day at a cost of 58 runs.
