ALLEGED SHARE STEALING
MAN AND WOMAN CHARGED (Pee United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 22. William Campbell, aged 37 years, an accountant, and Madge Munro, aged 28 years, a married woman, were charged jointly in the Magistrate’s Court, to-day with stealing 140 shares in the Australian Glass Manufacturing Company, Ltd., valued at £375, the property of Julia Boutell, at Sydney in July, 1933. On the application of the police, a remand was granted to next Friday, bail in each case being fixed at £SOO, with an approved surety of a similar amount. Both the accused are to report daily to the police. Counsel said his instructions were that both the accused had a complete answ-cr to the charge. It was definite that an extradition application would be resisted.
