A DISTINGUISHED AIRMAN.
The London Gazette announces that Wing-commander K. R. Park,: M.C., D.FiC., M.A. (Oxon.), youngest son of Professor Park, has been promoted to the rank of groupcaptain, R.A.F., as from January, 1. Group-captain Park is air attache to the British Embassy, Buenos Aires, Argentina,' and is accredited to Chile, Peru and Brazil. He was educated at King’s college, Auckland, Otago Boys’ High School and Otago University. In 1923 he graduated at the R.A.F. Staff College, Andover, Hants, and iln England held several independent commands. From 1916 till the end of-the war he commanded the 48 Squadron, Bristol Fighters, and was twice wounded.
