The following notes are by Mr Le Petit:— (a) This Kt should have been played to B 3, and would have tied White's Kt at K B 3. for If White’s K Kt moved away this one would occupy ft 5 to advantage. (b) There was no hurry for this. It would'; have been better to post the Kts to prevent White occupying his B 5 with his Kt, which was the cause of all Black’s subsequent trouble. (c) ;Thls was a splendid post for the Kt. (d) Anything but this. R (K 2) to K 1 should have been , played so as not to give White the open flleh I do not think there was a draw after this exchange.
