An account of the proceedings of a conference of the Queensland branch of the Australian Institue of International Affairs is published as “Australian Foreign Policy, 1934.” (Melbourne Uni; versity Press, Is fid.) Its chief contents are the texts of the addresses, which were delivered by Mr F. H. Stewart, M.P. (“Australian Commercial/Representation Abroad ”), Professor A. C. V. Melbourne (“A Foreign Policy for Australia”), Mr Malcolm MacDonald (on aspects of Imperial relations), and Dr W. G. Goddard (“ Cultural Relations Between Australia and Oriental Countries”). '.
