TO THE EDITOH Sir,—l would like to know if it is a fair thing that the members of the Police Force are not dealt with for making bets, as we all know that anyone making bets with bookmakers are liable to a fine. If the police cannot get a man by fair means —well, let him go.—l am, etc., Fate Plat.
