LAND SPEED RECORD
TRIAL RUN OF BLUEBIRD DAYTONA BEACH, February 14. On his first trial run over a fairly smooth course Sir Malcolm Campbell found several imperfections in the Bluebird. After covering, an eight-mile run the speed indicator was not working properly, and the clutch was slipping. The speed in the trial was slightly m' re than 100 miles per hour. " The time of the attempt of the record run is-indefinite.
