ACTOR FRIENDS DIE ON SAME DAY
GINGER MICK AND THE BLOKE The deaths recently occured on th« same day of two Australian actors who were "associated with C.-J. Dennis’s “ The Sentimental Bloke.” Mr Walter Cornock died at Redfern and Mr Gilbert Emerv at Los Angeles (U.S.A.). Mr Emery took the role of Ginger Mick in the silent film based on Dennis’s verses, which was made by Mr Raymond Longford in 1918. Mr Cornock appeared as the “Bloke” in the stage play, which followed four years later.
