IRISH SWEEP TICKETS
LARGE NUMBER SEIZED LONDON, November 28. (Received Nov. 28, at 11.45 p.m.i _ The police searched a motor car which was going to Belfast from Banbridge and seized two large trunks containing £60,000 worth of books of tickets in the Irish sweepstake in cases addressed to an English town, but the envelopes containing the tickets were addressed to foreign countries with instructions in various European languages.
