(Received Nov. 16, at 9.30 p.m.) Beginning with ecclesiastical pageantry in a street procession, with 11 bishops in scarlet and purple robed clergy, the concluding service of the Australian Anglican Assembly was held in St. Paul’s Cathedral to-day. The occasion was made notable by the presentation by Canon Barry of a piece of stone from Westminster Abbey, which he asked should bo let into the wall of St. Paul’s as a memorial to this century. The token from the Abbey church, which had been of nearly 1000 years standing, would bear witness to the consecration of national life nurtured by Christianity.
