BREEDING OF SHEEP
ENCOURAGEMENT IN GERMANY FREIGHT CHARGES REDUCED BERLIN, November 16 ■ (Received Nov. 16, at 10 p.m.) In order to encourage the breeding of sheep for wool, the railways are reducing freight charges for wool sheared from German sheep by 25 per cent. A Government department, with branches, will control the distribution. The Government is urging people to eat more mutton, the price of which will be controlled.
