Walnui is due at Dunedin on Monday morning from Wellington to load general cargo. She will sail on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via ports. Parera Is due here on Monday morning from Wellington, and will sail the same day for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato, via ports. Storm is due at Dunedin on Tuesday from Bluff, and Is timed to sail the same day for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for W’elllngton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. MAHENO LEAVES MELBOURNE. Advice received by the Union Company states that the Maheno left Melbourne at 10 a.m. on Thursday for Bluff, Dunedin. Lyttelton, and Wellington with passengers, malls, ana corgo. The freight includes transhipments ex the Strathaird, Orontcs, Bendigo, Almskcrk, Nleuw Holland, Changtc, Templar, and Narkunda. The Maheno Is due at Dunedin on Tuesday morning.

WAIRUNA FOR AUSTRALIA. Having discharged the Dunedin portion of her cargo from Pacific coast ports, the Waliuna sailed yesterday afternoon for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. She will afterwards proceed to Suva. Nukualofa, Apia, and Vancouver. KALINGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Kallngo, from Grafton and Newcastle, is to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She Is due here on Tuesday, and will sail on Wednesday for Grcymouth. KAIMIRO’S AUSTRALIAN LOADING. The Union Company advises that the Kalmiro will load at Edithburg about November 20 and will complete at Adelaide and Melbourne for New Plymouth, Auckland, Portland, Napier, Wellington, and Dunedin. She is to leave Melbourne about December 3. RANGITATA LEAVES LONDON. Advice received by the Now Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rangitata left London on Thursday afternoon for Auckland and Wellington with passengers and cargo. She Is duo at Auckland on December 19. NARBADA LEAVES SINGAPORE. The Narbada sailed from Singapore at 4 p.m. on Monday for Calcutta, Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to load for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. FORDSDALE AT LONDON. The Fordsdale, which left Auckland on October 5 for London, via Panama, arrived at London last Monday evening. She lost two days on the trip owing to being delayed at the Panama canal whilst the American Fleet passed through. GOVERNMENT STEAMER MATAI. The Government steamer Matal left Bluff last Monday night for. the Puysegur Point lighthouse. She will return to Bluff and leave there on Monday for the West Coast lights and Wellington. lONIC'S ITINERARY. The Shaw, Savlll, and Albion liner lonic, which arrived at Wellington on Thursday from London, will later proceed to Auckland to complete discharge. She will commence loading at New Plymouth on November 26. The vessel is expected back at Wellington on November 29, and will go on to Auckland again on December 1. A week later she will sail finally for London, via the Panama canal and Kingston. BYRD EXPEDITION SHIP. The Byrd expedition ship Jacob Ruppert came out of dock at Port Chalmers yestetday morning after being cleaned and painted and having her hull Inspected. She was perilled at the George street wharf. The Bear of Oakland, which is now at the George street wharf, will come to Dunedin after the departure of H.AI.S. Dunedin to-day, and take up her former berth at the Rattray street wharf. MOVEMENTS OF CORNWALL. The Federal Company's Cornwall, which arrived at Wellington on Tuesday morning from Auckland, is to sail to-day to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo at Lyttelton and Dunedin. She Is to start loading at Port Chalmers on November 22, and will then call at Wellington, N.ew Plymouth, Opua, and Auckland. The Cornwall will sail from Auckland on December 11 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama canal. NORWEGIAN LAID-UP TONNAGE. According to statistics Issued by the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, there was a reduction In the total volume of Norwegian lald-up tonnage during the month of July. On August 1 last there were 106 vessels of 567,458 tons dw. out of commission, including 37 tankers of 350,000 tons dw. A month previously 119 vessels of 584,592 tons were laid up, including 30 tankers of 200,000 tons. The idle tanker tonnage was increased by six motorships and one steamer, totalling about 60,000 tons dw. The net reduction of 13 vessels and 17,134 tons dw.
