A golden eagle was seen recently in the Craven dales of Yorkshire, and naturalists became greatly excited. Eagles travel tremendous ("stances when hunting for food, but naturalists were baffled to account for the presence of this eagle in Yorkshire. The last eagle known in Yorkshire was kept in captivity about 50 years ago at the Tennants Arms, Kilnsey. It was taken from a nest on Ben Nevis. It is estimated that there are not more than 12 pairs of eagles left in the British Isles. They breed in the mountain fastnesses of Northern Scotland. gPECIAL DRESS OFFER. . 1000 YARDS SAND CREPE MAROCAIN. Lovely material tor good trocks.
