OPENED BY KING CAROL BUCHAREST, November; 15. King Carol’s and Prince Michael’s carriage was closely guarded when they drove through the streets for the opening of Parliament. Nobody was allowed to occupy windows. • King Carol, in his speech from the Throne, declared that Rumania desired peace. Nevertheless, owing to recent international events, the army needed immediate overhauling in preparation for any eventuality. THREATS AGAINST MINISTERS BUCHAREST, November 15.(Received Nov. IG, at 8.30 pan.) M. Tituleseu has three times been warned that he has been sentenced to death by a terrorist organisation. The police are taking special precautions because M. Duca has been similarly warned. FOREIGNERS EXPELLED BUCHAREST, November 10. ( Received Nov. IG, at 10 p.m.) Hundreds of suspected foreigners are being expelled as a result of Wednesday’s round-up.
