WELCOME TO LAUNCESTON FINE CHILDREN’S DISPLAY (United Preso Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright 1 LAUNCESTON, November 16. (Received Nov. 17, at 0.30 a.m.) The Launceston welcome to the Duke of Gloucester was on all fours with that of Hobart, a children’s demonstration being a feature, their drilling greatly impressing the royal visitor. He attended a civic reception, called at the Travellers’ Club, and then went to the city park for a public reception, where he received addresses from various organisations. ‘ The Duke to-night will attend a dance in hjs honour arranged _by the City Council. To-morrow he will visit Burnio.
