The first international ice hockey tournament will be held in December at the Garmisch Ice Stadium, in Germany. With a frozen surface of half an acre, the stadium provides seating accommodation for 2800 spectators and standing space for another 10,000. The fourth Olympic winter i ports will be. held there in 1839.
