DUNEDIN SCOTTISH SOCIETY
MONTHLY SOCIAL. Victoria Hall was well filled on Saturday evening on the occasion of the monthly social of the Scottish Society of Dunedin. The vice-president (Mr Peter Duff) was piped to the platform by Piper Norman MacPherson, and in his opening remarks referred to the illness of the president (Mr G. Munro).and the chairman (Mr W. P. Smith). A hearty welcome was extended to members and friends. ■ During the evening a box of heather from Mrs Meek (Galashiels) was handed round for distribution. Items were <;iven by Miss 11. Mackenzie, Mrs MacGregor. Mrs Ramsay and Mr R. Waterson, and Master Roy Park (Goodwood). The dances of the evening were performed by Miss Loraine Ross. Miss Betty Brown, Miss Ramsay, and Miss Harris. Miss Mathieson and Mr MacGlashan supplied music for a dance.
