SARAZEN AND KIRKWOOD A MATCH IN BRISBANE BRISBANE, October 21. (Received Oct. 21, at 10 p.m.) Sarazen and Kirkwood defeated the local professionals Gazzard and Denholm, 4 and 3. Sarazen improved the Royal Queensland Club's record by four strokes, completing the course in 64, nine under par. There were 10 birdies on his card. THE BRITISH AMATEURS ADELAIDE, October 21. (Received Oct. 21, at 10 p.m.) In a golf match Jbetween the British amateurs and South Australia, Scott and Bourn lost to Ackland Horman and Rymill, 5 and 3; Garnett and M'Lean defeated Winser and M'Lachlan, 4 and 2; and Scott and Garnett and Winser and Ackland Horman were all square; Bourn and M'Lean lost to M'Lachlan and Rymill, 2 and 1. South Australia won by one match.
