A PASTOR’S PROTEST ALTAR CANDLES BROKEN LONDON, October 19. (Received Oct. 19, at 9.30 p.m.) The News-Chronicle’s Berlin correspondent says Pastor Korn, of Ansbach, in the presence of his congregation, broke the altar candles, declaring that he would not again light them until the tyrannical church government was overthrown.
