With the police of the whole country out to get him alive or dead, Coroiu, Rumania’s “ Dillinger,” lately brought off one of his most spectacular coups and escaped—in a skirt. Coroiu held up the proprietor, staff, and guests of a roadside inn near Gurnada Forest, stole £4OO, and apologised to his victims for disturbing them. Then he changed into woman’s clothing and disappeared into the forest before the police arrived.
