BYRD TRACTOR PARTIES
HELD UP BY GALES LITTLE AMERICA, October 11. The gales which for the past six days have swept Antarctica have moderated somewhat, and it was hoped that the two marooned tractor parties would soon be able to restart their journeys. However, Harold June, who is en route to the Edsel Ford Range, and Novelle, who is en route to the Boiling base, reported that they were still unable to move.
