INVOLVED ACTION
SALE OF FARM PROPERTIES VERDICT FOR SELLING COMPANY. (Peb United Pbess absociatioh.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 12. Judgment in an involved case between Douglas George Wright and Hugh Black, farmers (the plaintiffs), and the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd. (the defendants), was given by Mr Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court this morning. The plaintiffs' claims relating to the alleged wrongful and negligent sale of farm properties and credits allegedly due involved amounts totalling about £13,000. The defendants counter-claimed for £11,816 due under a guarantee and interest thereon, and £2234 and, interest on the balance due under a current account. His Honor gave judgment for the defendant company on the claim, and on the counter-claim. Costs were allowed at £3OO, with hearing fees, witnesses' expenses, and disbursements, which bring the total costs to £4OO.
