ARMISTICE DAY
RELIGIOUS SERVICES # LONDON, September 15. (Received Sept. 16, at 7.30 p.m.) Armistice Day this year falling on a Sunday, the Archbishop erf Canterbury has sent a letter to the bishops in which he says he has communicated with the Government regarding-the King's wishes. It is hoped that the religious services will refer specially to the memories, hopes and resolves surrounding Armistice Day, while it will be arranged to enable silence to be observed within the churches exactly at 11 a.m. The letter adds: "I am communicating with other religious communions."
