WAIKOUAITI IN DOCK. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Walkouaiti arrived yesterday morning from Oamaru and was floated into the large dock at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting. She will come out of dock this afternoon and sail for Bluff, Sydney and Newcastle. NARBADA LEAVES AUCKLAND. The Union Company advises that the Narbada left Auckland on Thursday evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to discharge the remainder of her freight from Calcutta and other Eastern ports. She is duo at Dunedin on September 25. MAUNGANUI PROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Royal Mail liner Maunganul is due at Wellington on Monday morning from San Francisco, Papeete and Rarotonga, and will sail on Tuesday afternoon for Sydney. HUNTINGDON LEAVES DAKAR. Cabled advice that the Huntingdon cleared Dakar on September 10 has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company. The vessel left Lyttelton on August 8 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. RARANGA IN BALLAST. Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savlll Company that the .Raranga left London on September 8 In ballast for New Zealand, via the Cape of Good Hope and Sydney. She is due on the coast on October 2!) to load Homeward. ROTORUA LEAVES SUVA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rotorua, from London, left Suva yesterday morning for Wellington, where she Is due next Wednesday morning. After landing passengers, the Rotorua will sail for Port Chalmers, where she should arrive on the afternoon of September 20. -, ARMADALE FROM AMERICA. The A. and A. Line chartered motor ship Armadale is. reported to have cleared Philadelphia on September 8 for New York to complete loading for'New Zealand and Australia. The vessel Is scheduled to clear New York to-morrow for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australian port's. She Is due at Auckland about October'22. NOTICE TO MARINERS. The Gisborne Harbour Board reports tljat during the heavy gales yesterday the black buoy marking Tokomaru Rock was washed ashore, also that the light on the buoy marking Te Moana Rock was extinguished. Both marks will be restored as soon as possible.
