ST. KILDA BAND RECITAL

The final recital for the season will be given on Sunday evening in the Empire Theatre by the St. Hilda Band and assisting artists. This will be the final appearance of Signorina Graziella Rossi before leaving for Australia to compete in the vocal sections of the Ballarat competitions. Signorina Rossi will sing "The Jewel Song” from “Faust,” and will be accompanied by Mr Alfred Walmsley in the “ Miserere ” scene from “II Travatore.” Don Rossi, the boy baritone, will be heard in selected solos, and the Philips Trio will play a selection of Chamber music. The Salon String Orchestra, under the direction of Miss' Ngaio Gaidand, will play “ Spring Song ” (Mendelssohn), "La Cinquantaine ” (Gabriel-Marie), and “Black Eyes” (Ferraris).
