MAIN BODY REUNION
Arrangements and preparations for the reunion of Main Body members to be held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Albany street, on September 29, arc-well forward, and, judging by the notifications received, the evening is going to be a huge success. Being hekf as it is on approximately the twentieth anniversary of the departure of the Main Body for active service, added interest is lent to the function. The reunion is open to all Main Body men who left New Zealand with the Main Expeditionary Force on October 16, 1914. An invitation is extended to any men from overseas who left on active service from other parts of the Empire, and who would, if in their own country, come under the same category as the Mam Body New Zealand Forces. Any of these men who arc desirous of participating in the reunion are requested to communicate at once with the secretary and furnish sufficient evidence as to their bona tides. Lieutenantcolonel J. A. Hargest, M.P., will preside at the function, and it is anticipated that comrades will take this opportunity of renewing old friendships.
