German school children are to have two months’ holiday this summer in place of the usual one month. The .teachers however, will not have this eight weeks to themselves, ns four weeks of the time are to be spent by them in a series of summer schools. Views on education will be exchanged in the summer schools, by teachers from all parts of Germany. In this way German teachers will be able to keep up with the latest developments in educational methods and the newest discoveries in child psychology.
