COMMANDER FOR NEW ZEALAND COLONEL ADAMS APPOINTED (Peb United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 13. -A cable_ message... received to-day at the national headquarters of the Salvation Army conveys the information that General Higgins has appointed Colonel Fred Adams as the new territorial commander for New Zealand, with the rank of lieutenant commissioner. He, with Mrs Adams, will sail from England about the end of October. The new commissioner is an Englishman by birth and all his Army service up to the present has been in Great Britain as field officer, divisional commander, field secretary, and chief secretary.
