SPRING MEETING OPENED LIMBOHM PRINCIPAL WINNER. (Peb United Pbess Association) WANGANUI, Sptember 13. Ideal spring weather prevailed this afternoon for the opening of the. Wanganui Jockey Club’s spring meeting, and the attendance wag satisfactory. .Inc going was good after rain. The totahsator handled £6596 10s, compared with £6253 10s last year, when the first day s racing was postponed till i riday.. After the Okehu Hurdles an inquiry was held into the running of Brigadore, and it was decided to exonerate the owner, but while accepting the explanation of Trillo, the rider, the stewards expressed dissatisfaction with his handling of his mount.
