ALPINISTS KILLED
TRAGEDIES IN SWITZERLAND RESULT OF TERRIFIC STORMS (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERNE, September 11. Eight alpinists are dead and several were injured as the result of storms and torrential rains sweeping Central Switzerland at the week-end. Three climbers from Basle fell to death from Galenstoek Peak, the bodies of two Italians were found on Mount Rose, and two tourists are missing on Gletschorn. Hopes of their survival have been abandoned. Another climber died from exhaustion.
