NEW £40,000 BRIDGE
Employment for two years will be provided in the building of a £40,600 to £30,000 road bridge the northern end of Loch Awe, Argyllshire, The Government has given a grant of 85 per cent, of the cost, and for months engineers have been taking soundings 200 yards north of the railway viaduct. Of reinforced concrete, the bridge will link up the Dahnally and Pass o’ Brander road ■ sections and will shorten the distances between Oban and Glasgow and Oban and Inverary.
