OTAGO HOME ECONOMICS
Monitors of tlio Home Economics Association arc providing many items of interest for the display which will he held in the Concert Chamber on Friday. There will be six bays, where members of six branches will exhibit work done during the year. Other branches, keenly interested in gardening, are providing a wealth of flowers and. plants. Parents will be particularly interested in inspecting school lunches especially suited to the requirements of growing children. A “ milk ” bar will be a noveHy in Dunedin,'but this has already proved a success in northern centres, and patrons will appreciate the novel and appetising drinks provided. Many members are lending specially treasured possessions, which will include Paisleyshawls, old china and brasses and other antiques,, while some 30 members are taking part in a parade of early Victorian dress.
