AUSTRALIAN FLOWERS
EXHIBITION AT OAKLAND PACKED IN BLOCKS OF ICE SAN FRANCISCO, August 27. (Received August 28, at 8 p.m.) Fourteen blocks of -Western Australian iced flowers have arrived for exhibition at a flower show at Oakland in September in the City Sail. At a ceremony to-day Miss Barbara O’Connor presented a block of flowers to Hie Mayor, who expressed delight, with the perfection of the flowers, and said, the event was unique in . the history of California, which proposed to reciprocate and send Californian poppies to Atistralia.
