ANNUAL MEETING NEXT MONTH (British Official Wireless.> ;,V:‘ IP. RUGBY, August' 27. (Received August 28, .at 5.5 p.m.) The British Association for the Ad-vancement-of. Science, which will hold its annual meeting ,at Aberystwyth - next month, at tvhigh most of-Britain’s bestknown scientists, as well as many distinguished foreign: visitors, will be present, is expected to produce practical contributions towards a, solution of many modern problems. Last s'ear’s nssociu tion formed committees to investigate such subjects as noise, watei supplies and various aspects of wireless telephony, and the results of the' researches made are to be .announced at Aberystwyth.
