V NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the holder* of debenture* or other securities issued by the Dunedin City Council in respect of the al » o ™’ nentioned loan* that it is intended to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) nto new debentures, having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4J per cent, per annum. The Dunedin City Council reserves the right to redeem all or any of the new debentures the specified maturity date U a late later than the Ist day of April. 1940. on such date prior to the.date so specified (but not earlier than the Ist day of April, 1940), a* the said Council may fix by notice in that behalf published in the Gazette at least three months before such date. The conversion will take effect from the Ist October, 1934. Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relate*. Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or othet securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered * the Town Clerk, Town Hall. Dunedin, on or before the Ist day of October. 1934. If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures »r other securities is not received by that date, the securities will be converted. The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of Section 18 »f the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate as from the Ist day of October, 1934. . ‘ Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained, by correspondence, from the Town C ark (or hy personal application to the City Treasurer).
