B CLASS BROADCASTING STATIONS
TO THE EDITOR. v Sin, —I think you .will agree that it is time that B class stations were allowed to earn something for the splendid service they render daily. The great majority of listeners prefer to listen to some B station, and I often wonder what would happen to the programmes from the A stations if there were no B stations. My suggestion is to take one-third of the present license fees and divide it between the B stations. This would be a great help and encouragement; to these willing men who give all their time in endeavouring to entertain the owners of radio pets. Perhaps someone will suggest a better way to make it at least a little more interesting to the owners of these stations who are giving for nothing what the A stations get about £200,000 a year for.—l am, etc., B Station Supporter,
