HAMBURG, August 26, Amid the demonstrative' disappointment of a record crowd of 80,000, Noasel, with his face badly battered at the opening of the ninth round of a heavyweight fight against Sehmeling, remained in his corner. He told the referee that he relinquished the contest as it was hopeless for him to continue. The fight was therefore awarded to Sehmeling.
