THE WEATHER
The weather was again fine and sunny yesterday, following a keen frost. A light south-west breeze was blowing. The temperature at 8 a.m. was 32 degrees, and the maximum for the day was 53 degrees. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Dailt Times.) AUCKLAND, July 31. Ideal weather, with a light southerly wind and sunshine, prevailed again today. The barometer rose to 30.35 in. WELLINGTON, July 31. Although cloudy at times, the weather was mostly fine to sunny today, a moderate northerly wind prevailing. The temperature at 4 p.tn. was 50. G degrees, and the maximum for the day was 52.4 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, July . 31. The weather to-day was sunny and fine, with a light east-north-east breeze. The maximum temperature was 48.0 degrees. There was a frost of 9.2 degrees this morning.
