FATAL EXPLOSION
RUMANIAN MUNITION WORKS BUCHAREST, July 19. The huge munitions centre at Tunari, near Bucharest, blew up recently. Windows of houses and shops 15'miles away were shattered. More than 100,000 hand grenades exploded with a mighty detonation. It w presumed that the three soldiers, who were on guard and are now missing, lost their lives. The catastrophe is attributed to spontaneous combustion caused by the blazing sun of the last few weeks.
