(Received July 27, at 9 p.m.) The Imperial Economic Committee has issued a voluminous.survey of the cattle and beef industry. It says: “Recent developments are encouraging tlie efforts of cattle raisers in the southern dominions and Southern Rhodesia in the expectation that they will enjoy in future a larger share of the chilled beef trade. Successful experimental consignments have already been made, but before the trade can assume substantia) proportions much remains to be dope, Chief among the'problems that await .solution are more rapid maturity, the up-grading of stock,, and. efficient transport to the abattoirs and from the abattoirs to the Anal, destination.” -./ ,
