PROPOSED FUSION
' THE TERMS REJECTED SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALISTS CAPETOWN, July 27. (Received July 27, at 5.30 p.m.) A congress of the Cape provincial section of the Nationalist Party rejected fusion terms as proposed by Generals Hertzog and Smuts, The decision, which was fully expected, means that the Cape section will now break away from the fusion under the leadership of Dr Malan and establish practically a new party consisting exclusively of Dutch South Africans.
